Moments · the School Journey media library
Every school photo, in the app your families already use.
Photos and videos in chat, in posts, and in every class album are included with Core. The Media Package, an extra $4 per student per year, finds the person in every photo, so a parent opens the app and sees every picture of their own child.
Up to 100 photos and 10 videos per post, unlimited albums, and per-album visibility — all in Core, at no extra cost.
Taking the photo was never the hard part.
A teacher gets back from the field trip with 200 photos.
Naming who is in each one is an evening of work — so it does not happen, and the album is posted with no names at all.
A parent scrolls forty albums looking for their own child.
The photos exist. They are just spread across every class, team, and event the school ran this year, in no particular order.
The gala photos arrive as an email thread.
Three volunteers, four attachments each, half of them too large to send. Someone downloads them all and re-uploads them by hand.
None of this is a storage problem. Nobody knows who is in the picture — so nobody can find it again.
A parent opens the app and sees every photo of their own child.
Not the class album — their child, across every album, team, and event, for the whole year. New photos join it as they land.
- Face recognition runs across the whole library. Upload 100 field-trip photos; every student who has opted in is matched.
- References come from profile photos already in the system — up to 5 per person. Nothing for families to set up.
- Uncertain matches go to the person or their parent as an “is this me?” question — not to a teacher's to-do list.
- Three tagging modes per school: manual, assisted (a human confirms every match), or automated (high-confidence matches applied, the rest verified).
- Personal albums, built automatically, that follow the child rather than the calendar.
The photographer uploads without an account. Grandparents view without one.
Photos come in from the people who took them and go out to the people who should see them — with no logins and no email threads.
- Upload request links: send one to the parent volunteers, the coach, the photographer at the gala. They upload from their phone, no account.
- Set an expiry, a per-person cap, a total cap, and a message explaining what you’re collecting. Require a name and email if you want one.
- Nothing from an outside contributor appears until someone at the school approves it.
- Guest share links for grandparents or a board member: optional password, optional expiry, downloads on or off, and view counts so you know it landed.
- Website embeds — grid, masonry, slideshow, or carousel, in your school's colors — that update as the album updates.

Media older than the immediate window stays viewable and searchable; the first load of an aged photo takes about a second longer.
The photo for the newsletter is thirty seconds away, not thirty minutes.
Search the archive the way you would describe it out loud: the person, the event, the week, who took it.
- Keyword, event, and location tags, with autocomplete drawn from the tags your school already uses — so the vocabulary stays consistent without a policy document.
- Bulk tagging: 50 photos in a single action. The whole meet, tagged once.
- Search by person, tag, event, date range, uploader, album, or media type — combined.
- Every tag records whether a person or the system created it, so a wrong one is easy to find and fix.
- Favorites, for the shots you know you’ll want again in May.
Room to keep the whole year at full quality, and a say over who touches it.
Ten times the included storage, three years immediately available, and permissions precise enough to hand an album to a parent volunteer without handing over the school.
- Album roles — Owner, Editor, Contributor, Viewer — plus per-person rights to upload, delete, manage members, and moderate.
- An approval queue and a review dashboard, so contributed photos never go live unreviewed.
- 250 GB of included storage a year, up from 25 GB. We’ll tell your admins before you get close, and we never block an upload mid-album.
- 3 years stay immediately available, and your archive is retained for the life of your subscription.
- Higher-resolution originals at 4096 px, and video up to 30 minutes at up to 4K.

Priced per student, per year — with a 100-student minimum, the same as Core.
Photos in chat, in posts, and in every class album are part of Core. They stay that way whether or not you ever add the package.
Questions schools ask
- Do we need the package to share photos with parents?
- No. Class, group, and event albums, plus photos in chat and posts, are included with Core. The package adds face recognition, tagging, search by person, upload links, guest links, and website embeds.
- How many photos can we put in one post?
- Up to 100 photos plus 10 videos, and 5 photos per comment. There is no limit on how many posts or albums you create.
- Is there a storage limit?
- There is an included allowance — 25 GB a year on Core, 250 GB with the package — but it isn’t a wall. We alert your admins as you approach it and never block an upload mid-album.
- Is face recognition on by default?
- No. It is off for every person until they opt in, and parents control it for their children. Schools also choose whether matches are applied automatically or verified by a human first.
- What happens to photos from previous years?
- They stay viewable and searchable. On Core, media older than 12 months moves to archive storage and the first view takes about a second longer. With the package, three years stay immediately available and your archive is kept for the life of your subscription.
- Can parent volunteers send us photos without an account?
- Yes, with the package. Send an upload link. They upload from their phone with no login, inside the expiry, caps, and approval rules you set.
- Can we put a gallery on our school website?
- Yes, with the package. Choose a grid, masonry, slideshow, or carousel in your school’s colors; it updates as the album updates.
- What happens if we drop the package?
- Nothing is deleted. Existing links keep working until their expiry, the tags you’ve created stay yours permanently, and your photos stay where they are — you move back to the Core allowance and alerting.

Thirty minutes, your albums, your roster. We will show you what the app already does for free, and exactly what changes the day you add the package.
